2019 Halfway There Throwdown WINNERS What a phenomenal weekend is behind us. We had 200 Elite Athletes out of 17 different countries who competed for a spot in the 2019 Halfway There Throwdown finals. Only the very TOP40 Male and Female athletes earned their position to showcase their fitness over 3 intense days in Bielefeld. Some came to learn, some to perform and some to compete. And compete they did. Through 8 challenging events across 3 days Luka Djukic and Anna Donauer  showcased their elite fitness and secured the top spot on the podium and 1000€ prize money. [...]

In curtesy to The Forge Concept the 2019 Halfway There Throwdown will increase the prize purse and extend the payout to the 6th and 7th placed Athlete. The prize money distribution for each gender will be as follows in 2019: 1st Place - 1000€ 2nd Place - 500€ 3rd Place - 250€ 4th Place - 150€ 5th Place - 150€ 6th Place - 100€ 7th Place - 100€

The Dottir will return It has been her first trip to Germany as the Icelandic native qualified for the 2018 Halfway There Throwdown. She was all smiles arriving at the venue and seeing the location for the first time. Fanney works as a bootcamp instructor at CrossFit XY in Iceland, while pursuing here Masters degree in Exercise Science. Behind the Scenes 2018 - Day 1 On day 1 the athletes received their briefing for the first couple events they were about to face over the course of the weekend. Their first event will be "DT". Halfway There Throwdown 2017 - Aftermovie Taking a loopback on 2017... The Sommer is almost over, but we are not done yet! A couple Throwdowns are left this year and Open Prep is about to start.
